Joseph W. Brunelle, 85, husband of the late Mary Brunelle and longtime resident of Westford, MA passed away peacefully on August 7th in Lowell. He was born October 31, 1923, Prior to his retirement, he was employed at the former Lowell Gas Company for 45 years, Mr. Brunelle served in World War II and was Honorably Discharged and was also a Life Time Member of the American Legion, Post 437. He is survived by his loving children; Andy Brunelle and his wife Denise of Westford, MA, David Brunelle and his wife Gaynel of Wilmington, NC, Donna Brunelle of Manchester, NH, Ernie Brunelle of Brewer, ME, and his sister Claire Beaupre of Lowell, MA. He also had eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Visiting hours will take place on Monday, August 10th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Healy Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at the Healy Funeral Home, Tuesday, August 11th at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, friends who wish may make memorial contributions in his name to the charity of one’s choice.
