| Dr. Vera Frances (Miller) Plumb died unexpectedly on Sept 14, 2009. She was the wife of the late Dr. Robert C. Plumb. She was born on Sept. 9, 1928, a daughter of the late Frank and Anna Miller. Prior to her retirement she taught elementery school in Boston, Ma., and was a loving and devoted teacher who adored her students. Dr. Plumb loved animals, especially her dogs. Vera was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her two sons and their families; Conrad J. Baranowski and his wife Peggy, and their daughters Diana and Stephanie; and Roger A. Baranowski and his wife, Kathy, and their sons Joshua and Zachary. Friends may call at the Healy Funeral Home on Wednesday, Sept. 16th from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Her funeral service will be celebrated Thursday, Sept. 17th at the Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow in Southborough Rural Cemetery, Southborough, MA. In lieu of flowers, friends who wish may make memorial contributions in her name to the Lowell Humane Society-Merrimack Valley Shelter, 951 Broadway St., Lowell, MA 01854-3007. |
