Patricia Jean (Thompson) Lavelle, devoted wife of her loving husband Edwin F. Lavelle, Sr., 73, died unexpectedly October 31, 2009 in West Palm Beach, FL.
Patty was born in Waltham, MA Nov 17, 1935 to Ernest and Florence (Toombs) Thompson and was a graduate of Waltham High School, Class of 1952. Married for 54 years, Patty and her husband Edwin built Lavelle Machine and Tool Co, Inc of Westford. Together they enjoyed winters at their home in Riviera Beach, FL and their greatest pleasure in life was the time spent at their Westford home on the lake with their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Patty loved going to the beach, planting flowers in her secret garden, and also enjoyed boating and traveling. She loved her cat Toby.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her children; Edwin Lavelle, Jr. and his wife Christine of Chelmsford, Karyn DeRoy and her husband James of Amherst, Denise Lupien and her husband Peter of Townsend, Gary Lavelle of Westford, and Karla Scondras and her husband Jack of Westford, her grandchildren; Adam and Andy Lavelle, Mark and Kelly Lupien, Luke and Joelle DeRoy, Tabitha Lavelle, Nikolas Scondras, Michelle Buckjune, her great grandchildren; Olivia and Isabella Young, Alex and Hannah Lupien, Hannah and Riley Buckjune, her susters; Beverly Peirce, Gail Landino, Sherry Raboin, all of Billerica, Jackie Thompson of Wayland, brothers; Frank Thompson of Townsend, William Thompson of Sudbury, and Steven Thompson of Framingham. She was the sister of Ernest Thompson who predeceased her.
