Dwight Francis Young, 75, of Groton, beloved husband of Rosalie (Chipman) Young, died January 6, 2010. He was born in Ayer, September 28,1934, a son of the late Wallace Young and Catherine (Monahan)Young, but made his home in Westford for many years before moving to Groton.He attended Westford Academy High School. Mr. Young was honorably discharged as a Corporal after serving in the U.S. Marines during the Korean Conflict. Prior to his retirement, he was owner and operator of Groton Screw Machine for the past 40 years. In his leisure time Mr. Young enjoyed spending time fishing, and especially spending time with his grandchildren. Besides his wife Rosalie he is survived by three sons Jaime Young and his wife Holly of Plant City, FL, Randy Young and his wife Kimberly of Pepperell, MA, Jody Young and his wife Amy of Townsend, MA, Seven grandchildren Katy, Nicholas, Hannah, Noah, Grace, Zachary, and Brady, and two great grandchildren Michael and Angeleigh. A brother-in-law Leonell Marcouillier of Westford. He was the brother of the late Barbara (Young) Marcouillier who died the same day.
