Obituary:Frances (Burkle) Jeray 87, died February 3, 2010 at D'Youville Senior Care facility after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease. She was a gentle soul who touched the lives of everyone she met. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank Jeray, to whom she was married for 57 years. Frances was born in Glendale, NY on June 29, 1922, the only child of Catherine (Bach) and Paul Burkle. She was raised and educated in Glendale and worked as a secretary for a small trade magazine in New York City after her graduation from Bishop McDonald Memorial High School. After her marriage, Frances and her husband moved to Connecticut, where they lived for several years and eventually settled in Westford, MA. Frances was well known in the community where she worked as the principal's secretary at Westford Academy in the 1970's and 80's. After her retirement in 1987, she was an active member of the Westford Golden Age Club. A Communicant of St. Catherine of Alexandria Church, Frances served the parish as leader of the Religious Education program in the 1970's. She is survived by her four children and their spouses, James and Marilyn Jeray of Pontiac, MI; Jeanne (Jeray) Drula and her husband Terrence of Westford, MA; Kathleen (Jeray) Butterworth and her husband Gary of Berlin, MA and John and Diane Jeray of Lowell, MA., her sister-in-law and life long friend Mary Ryder of Valley Stream, NY, her cousin George Burkle of Narrowsburg, NY., and eight grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all whose life she touched. |

| Visitations: Visiting hours will take place Sunday, February 7th from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Healy Funeral Home. |

| Services: Her funeral mass will be celebrated Monday, February 8th at 10:00 a.m. at St. Catherine’s Church, 107 N. Main St. Westford, followed by burial in St.. Catherine’s Cemetery |
