 Obituary:Florian Woitowicz, 88, husband of the late Jeannette (Brule) Woitowicz, died April 30, 2010 in Burlington. He was born in Westford, September 25, 1921, a son of the late Florian Woitowicz and Sophie (Masilbas) Woitowicz. He was a graduate of Westford Academy and served, with distinction in the United States Army in the European Air Offensive in the theatres of Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes, and Central Europe. He was honorably discharged, awarded the Good Conduct Medal, the Distinguished Unit Badge and the Middle Eastern Theater Campaign Ribbon. Prior to his retirement, he was a self-employed building contractor at Woitowicz Construction. He was a founding member of the Westford Rotary, a Life Member of the V.F.W. Mattawanakee Post, 6539 and a past member of the Westford Sportman’s Club. An avid outdoorsman and rock collector, he was a member of the Nashoba Valley Mineralogical Society and he loved spending time at his camp in Grafton, N.H. Mr. Woitowicz is survived by three children; Anne Polak and her husband Frank of Tyngsborough, Kevin Woitowicz and his wife Rosemary of Groton, David Woitowicz and his wife Jane of Westford, seven grandchildren; Nicholas and Matthew Polak, Christopher, William, Amanda, Lauren, and Allan Woitowicz, two sisters; Sophie Brule of Westford, Josephine Stevens of North Andover and close friend Betty Dennison. |

| Visitations: Calling hours will be held on Monday, May 3rd form 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Healy Funeral Home. |

| Services: His funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday, May 4th at 9:00 a.m. at St. Catherine’s Church, 107 N. Main St. Westford. |
