| Obituary: Michele (Deschamps) Roy, 49, beloved wife of Daniel J. Roy, Sr., died May 18th in Merrimack, N.H. surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Methuen, MA November 16, 1960, a daughter of Andrew Deschamps and Sally (Caverly) Deschamps of Methuen. Born and raised in Methuen, Michele was a graduate of Methuen High School. She was active in Coaching Youth Cheerleading in Ayer and Shirley Pop Warner, and also active in the Groton Girl Scouts. Michele was also very involved in fundraising for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by a son, Daniel J. Roy, Jr., a daughter, Ashlyn Roy, both of Groton, two brothers, Joe Deschamps and Bob Deschamps, both of Methuen, and a sister, Denise Deschamps of North Reading. |

| Services: Her funeral mass will be celebrated Monday, May 24 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Catherine’s Church, 107 N. Main St. Westford. Burial to follow in St. Catherine’s Cemetery, Westford. |
