 Obituary:Raymond A. Connell, 60, died unexpectedly on August 2, 2010 at his residence in Tyngsboro, MA. He was the beloved husband of Pamela (Thompson) Connell, with whom he had been married to for 18 years. He was born on July 7, 1950, in Lowell, MA, the beloved son of the late George E. Connell and Frances C. (Charlton) Connell, and was raised in the Forge Village section of Westford. He graduated from Westford Academy in 1969. Ray was an Army Combat Decorated Veteran, who served in Vietnam from 1970 – 1971. After returning from the service, Ray worked for Verizon for 26 years retiring in February 2008. Besides his wife and mother, Ray is survived by his two children, Ryan F. Connell, of Groton, MA and Rory M. Connell of Westford, MA, his sister Claudia M. Field and her husband Jeremy of Sarasota, FL, his sister Candice F. Connell, of Westford, MA, and a brother Henry E. Connell of Williamstown, NJ, his sister-in law Dana Kirane, of Lowell, MA. He also leaves 3 nieces, Carrie Field, Sarah Bahia, Emily Connell, and two nephews Carl Bahia, Joseph Kirane, as well as two grand nephews, Jack and Bryan Bahia. |

| Visitations: Friends may call at the Healy Funeral Home on Thursday August 5, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. |

| Services: His funeral mass will take place on Friday, August 6, at 10:00 AM at St. Catherine's Church, 107 North Main Street, Westford. Burial to follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Westford. |
