Obituary:Christos L. Koravos of Auburn NH, formerly of Westford MA, died suddenly on November 20th at his home, he was 87 years old. He was the husband of Jennie (Caban) Koravos, they were married for 55 years. Born in Lowell MA on August 8th 1923, the son of Louis and Olympia (Filopoulos) Koravos, he attended school in Lowell. He was a retired machinist from the Carling Brewery Co. in Natick MA. Mr. Koravos was a veteran of WWII and the Korean War as a member of the Fighting SeaBees stationed in the South Pacific. He was a ranking member of the local Disabled American Veterans, past commander of the VFW Post 6539 in Westford, a past president of the Kiwanis of Westford, a member of the American Legion Post 159 Westford, and also an advocate for the rights of Disabled American Veterans. Mr. Koravos enjoyed sports, was an avid fan of the Red Sox and Patriots, and also enjoyed fishing, gardening and woodworking. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Christos is survived by his wife Jennie, son Michael and his wife JoAnne, son Stephen and his wife Pauline of Plymouth NH, 2 grandchildren, Nicholas and Jamie Koravos of Auburn NH, brother Vincent Koravos of Arizona, sister Mary Koravos of Lowell MA and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his Brothers Nicholas, Thomas, Joseph and Sister Rose. |

| Services: His funeral service will take place at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, Lowell, MA. on Saturday, Nov. 27th at 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow in West Lawn Cemetery, Lowell, MA. |
