| Obituary: Walter Nyder, 83, a lifelong resident of Westford, died March 16, 2011 in his home. He was the beloved husband of the late Pearl V. (Lefebre) Nyder. He was born March 31, 1927 in Westford, a son of the late Eufstafy Nyder and Eudokia Krewicz. Mr. Nyder attended Westford schools and graduate from Westford Academy. He was enlisted in the U.S. Army in July 1945 as Sergeant and was honorably discharged in Jan. 1947. Prior to his retirement Mr. Nyder worked for Gro-Lex Company in Groton, MA. He enjoyed wood-working, spending time with his family and working outdoors. Mr. Nyder was a life member of the American Legion Post #159. He is survived by his son, David Ross and his wife Dorothy of Punta Gorda, FL; his daughter, Darlene and her husband John Palmer of New Ispwich, NH; his grandchildren, Molley Palmer of Boston, MA, Ben Palmer of Peterborough, NH, Emily Palmer of Manchester, NH, David Ross, Jr. and his wife Jill of Hudson, NH, Scott Ross and his wife Kerry of Marietta, GA and Derek Ross and his wife Melissa of Greenfield, NH as well as his great grandchildren, Cody, Danielle, Brian, Brett, Iris and Trenton. Walter was the father of the late Dale Nyder and brother of the late Peter Nyder,Hank Nyder and Vera Burleson. |

| Visitations: Friends may call at the Healy Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 22 from 9:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Followed immediately by his funeral service, burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery, Westford. |
