 Obituary:Lillian (LaCourse) Holmes, 89, of Groton MA, died April 5, 2011 at Apple Valley Center in Ayer, Ma. She was the beloved wife of James J. Holmes with whom she celebrated 63 years of marriage. She was born in Lowell, MA, a daughter of the late Adrian and Maria LaCourse and made her home in Groton for the last 63 years. Prior to her retirement Mrs. Holmes worked in the bindery department for Murray Printing Company in Westford. She was a communicant of St. Catherine's Church. In her leisure time she enjoyed spending time in Maine and especially loved going to yard sales. Besides her husband James she is survived by a daughter, Ann Smith and her husband Gary of Vermont; a son, James R. Holmes of Revere, eleven grand children; fourteen great-grand children, two great-great grand children, a step sister, Theresa Langlois of Tyngsboro, Ma and several cousins. She was also the mother of the late Bruce J. Holmes. |

| Visitations: Relatives and friends may call at the Healy Funeral Home on Thursday, April 7, 2011 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. |

| Services: Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 8, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Catherine's Church, WESTFORD. Burial to follow in St. Catherine's Cemetery. |
