Carmine D’Alleva, 92, died on Thursday, August 28, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Mariannina D’Alleva with whom he would have celebrated 70 years of marriage this coming February.
Carmine was born in Orsogna, Italy on January 14, 1933 and was a son of the late Assunta (Penna) and Nicolo D’Alleva. He immigrated to Everett, MA from Orsogna in 1953 at 20 years old. He opened his barbershop, D’Alleva Hair Design in 1965 in Lincoln, MA and operated it for over 37 years, retiring in 2002.
In addition to his wife, Mariannina, Carmine is survived and will be deeply missed by his three children, Nicholas D’Alleva and his wife, Patricia of Litchfield, NH, Leonardo D’Alleva of Bedford, MA and Cristina Underhill and her late husband, Joseph of Nashua, NH; his nine grandchildren; his 12 great-grandchildren; his three sisters, Maddalena Giamberardino and her late husband, Bernardo, Yolanda DiTavi and her husband, Angelo and Norma DiCarlo and her husband, Vincenzo; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister, Serafina Cipollone and her late husband, Antonio.
Relatives and friends are invited to Carmine’s Celebration of Life on Thursday, September 4, 2025 from 3 PM until 7 PM at the BLESSED TRINITY PARISH - ST. CATHERINE OF ALEXANDRIA CHURCH, 107 N Main Street, Westford. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 5, 2025 at 11 AM in the Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carmine's memory to either St. Joseph's Hospital, 172 Kinsley Street, Nashua, NH 03060 or to Blessed Trinity Parish - St. Catherine of Alexandria Church, 107 N Main Street, Westford, MA 01886.
