Catrina Nicole Clarke

May 4, 1959 — July 24, 2015

Catrina "Cate" Nicole (Azzopardi) Clarke, age 56, of Westford, passed away on the morning of Friday July 24, 2015 from complications following surgery at Mass General Hospital in Boston.

Cate was born May 4th, 1959 in Cardiff, South Wales, UK to the late Xavier & Pam (Owen) Azzopardi, and was a US resident for over 30 years. During that time, Cate and her family also travelled the world and spent several years resident in Singapore. While most of her life in the US was spent as a mother and homemaker, she also worked at various times in the retail industry and was a talented hair stylist and beautician back in the city of her birth. Cate, while encumbered by ill health during the final years of her life, was a resilient character with a deep reservoir for love. Those who knew her can attest to a deep kindness to others - both human and animal - and a fierce protection of her loved ones. Her passing leaves a gap in all the lives that knew her.

She is survived in the US by her devoted husband of 34 years and loving daughter, Geoffrey and Victoria. In the UK, Australia and Malta, she leaves behind sisters Salvina, Carmen, Maria and Trezza, and mother Pamelia as well as aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins. An avid animal lover all her life, Cate leaves behind cats, Cosmo and Weena. "Second star to the right and straight on 'til morning. Until we all meet again".
