Cecilia G. Vibert

August 2, 1916 — October 23, 2014

Cecilia Gertrude (Hall) Vibert, 98, of Mont Vernon, NH, formerly Westford, MA, made her peaceful journey home to God on October 23, 2014. She was the widow of Ermond Joseph Vibert who passed in 1991. She was the ninth child born in 1916 to Anthony and Johanna (Dwyer) Hall of Dalesville, Quebec, Canada.

Cecilia is survived by her sons Kevin Vibert Sr. & wife Regina, Westford, MA, Calvin Vibert & wife Pamela, Belmont, NH; and daughter Linda Vibert, Mont Vernon, NH; grandsons Shane Montoya & wife Sheryl, Anthony Montoya & wife Amanda, Kevin Vibert, Jr., Patrick Vibert and wife Kinsey, Derek Nicholson, Greg Nicholson; granddaughters Sheila Vibert, Heidi Vibert; great grandsons Brody Montoya, Baylor Montoya, Joseph Montoya, Athanazi Dimoulas; great granddaughter Jessa Montoya, Thalia Dimoulas; also nieces & nephews and many wonderful friends.

Cecilia grew up on the farm in Dalesville and attended school in Brownsburg, Quebec. She went on to Mrs. Parker's School of Nursing in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She worked in hospitals in Montreal, Maryland, Massachusetts, as well as private duty work. She retired from the VA hospital in Bedford, MA. Cecilia was a Cub Scout den mother and active in the PTA.

Cecilia loved long walks in the woods and caring for any animal that crossed her path. Her numerous pets throughout her life included dogs, cats, horses, cows, chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, pigs, raccoons, porcupine, parrots, parakeets, rabbits, ferrets, goats, deer and llamas. In her 80's she was still cruising through the woods on her ATV bringing food out in the winter for the wild animals. She was known for her quick wit and singing Irish ballads. She loved to laugh and was known for her kind, loving nature to all she met. She was a well-versed historian and when not out in nature, she was reading historical journals. She was a loving generous soul with power to share her love, stories, and memories. She was a blessing to all who knew her and will be deeply missed by family and friends.


ARRANGEMENTS -- Relatives and friends may call at the J. A. HEALY SONS FUNERAL HOME, 57 North Main St., WESTFORD, MA on Wednesday, Oct. 29, from 6 until 8pm. Rosary will take place from 5 until 6pm. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 10 o'clock at St. Catherine of Alexandria Church, 107 N. Main St., Westford. Interment will take place at the Bourne National Cemetery at 2:30pm. IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, donations in her memory may be made to the Boston Children's Hospital, www.ChildrensHospital.org.
