Cynthia Ann Prescott

TOWNSEND - Cynthia Ann (Rush) Prescott, age 53, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 10, 2017 at her home in Townsend, surrounded by her loving family, after a brief illness. For thirty years, she was the beloved wife of Frederick J. Prescott.She was born in Concord, MA on February 10, 1964, a daughter of the late Herbert and Dorothy (McHugh) Rush. Cynthia was raised in Westford and attended local schools. She was a longtime resident of Townsend.Prior to her illness, she was employed as a chef at the Bromfield High School in Harvard for twenty years. Cynthia had a great love for animals and enjoyed gardening and cooking, especially for family gatherings. Above all, she loved being with her family, especially during the holidays.Besides her husband, Frederick, she is survived by her son. Fred Prescott of Boston; two brothers and a sister, Herbert Rush and his wife, Kristine Ochu of Florida, Nancy Rush of Rowley and Gary Rush of Westford. Also several nieces and nephews.ARRANGEMENTS - Family and friends may gather to honor and remember Cynthia at the J. A. HEALY SONS FUNERAL HOME, 57 N. Main St., WESTFORD, on Thursday, Dec. 14, from 4 to 7pm. Funeral Friday morning with a Prayer Service to take place at the Funeral Home at 11 o'clock.
