Cynthia A. Putnam, beloved wife of Susan Cormier passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 9, 2024 at Lowell General Hospital with her family by her side. She was 63 years old.

Cindy was born in Concord, MA on April 2, 1960, the daughter of Sherry A. (Hill) DeSimone who survives her and the late Elliot P. Putnam.

Cindy and her wife Sue met through mutual friends more than 30 years ago and would have celebrated their 9th wedding anniversary later this year. They enjoyed spending time together by their pool and taking various trips together.

Cindy was a huge football fan. She was a New England Patriots and Minnesota Vikings Super-fan. She looked forward to attending Patriots games, talking football with her nephews, and of course the annual family fantasy football league. Cindy also enjoyed gardening and tending to and spending time around her pool. She will be remembered for her gregarious personality, positive outlook on life, and her distinctive laugh that put a smile on everyone’s face. Family was everything to Cindy and she had a way to make sure her love was felt by all.

Surviving Cindy besides her wife and mother are her brother and sister-in-law, David and Paula Putnam of Orleans, MA; a sister and brother-in-law, Jenifer and Craig Bautz of Green Acres, FL; four nephews and a niece, Alex Putnam and his wife Blair, Stephen Putnam all of San Francisco, CA, Brendan Putnam of Orleans, MA, Cody Bautz and Logann Bautz both of Green Acres, FL, the extended Cormier family, and many friends.
