Edna Neale (Lamb) Macpherson, 95, of Westford, MA passed away peacefully on Friday, January 21st, 2022. She was born on April 17, 1926 in Warrington, England and grew up in Penrhyn Bay, North Wales. She is predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Emily (Povey) Lamb of Penrhyn Bay, and her husband of 55 years, Ian A. Macpherson Sr.
Edna was long time member of the West Chelmsford United Methodist Church. Her hobbies included reading, art, knitting, baking and her favorite was gardening. You could always find Edna lovingly tending to her garden which was filled with beautiful flowers.
Survived by five children, Ian Macpherson Jr. of Chelmsford, Philip Macpherson and his wife Lorraine of Westford and Viera, FL, Kathleen Crowley and her husband Daniel of Forestdale, Christopher Macpherson and wife Nancy of Westford, and Heather Macpherson and Dave Scheffer of Townsend; loving grandmother of eight grandchildren, Jessica Fournier, Charlie Macpherson, Brandon Macpherson, Sheri Macpherson, James Macpherson, Andrew Macpherson, Christopher and Chelsea Crowley; Also five great-grandchildren. She was the dear sister to Pauline Phillips of Colwyn Bay, North Wales and Auntie to Gillian Gabbetis, David Phillips and Malcom Phillips and their families of North Wales.
Edna's family wish to extend their deepest appreciation to the entire staff of Life Care Center of Acton for their compassion and care especially the staff in the Alcott Wing.
A graveside celebration of life for immediate family members will be held in the spring.
