Edward J. Dziadzio, born on August 7, 1933, in Southampton, MA, peacefully passed away on February 9th. He was the beloved son of the late Mary (Dunaj) and Maxie Dziadzio and the cherished brother of the late Maxie Dziadzio, Jr.
Edward's journey in life was full of love, family and dedication. On September 10, 1955, he married the love of his life, Delores "Jean" Senecal and together they built a life filled with joy and countless memories, celebrating their 68th anniversary last September. Residing in Westfield, Massachusetts, for most of his life, Edward and Jean moved to the Westford area 20 years ago, where they continued to cultivate their enduring bond.
In his early years, Edward contributed to the family lumber business, leaving a lasting mark of hard work and dedication. He established and ran his own successful dry cleaning business for many years as his children grew. Notably, in his 60s and 70s, he found pride in driving a school bus-a testament to his enduring level of energy and commitment to service.
Edward's greatest joy was found in spending time with his family. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, he leaves behind a legacy of warmth and love. Edward is survived by his loving wife, Jean, and their three children, Edward, Richard, and Sandra. He will be deeply missed by his six grandchildren, Maxine, Savannah, Soline, Will, Lance and Alycia, who were the lights of his life.
Edward's memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. As we bid farewell to a remarkable soul, let us remember his great sense of humor, love and commitment to family as the enduring legacy of a man who touched us deeply. May he rest in eternal peace.
A small family service was held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Edward’s memory to the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Westfield, 28 West Silver Street, P.O. Box 128, Westfield, MA 01086.
