WESTFORD: Mrs. Elaine M. (Dalley)(Cropper) Lowrey, age 79, of Westford, died Friday Feb. 14, 2014, at Lowell General Hospital, Saints Campus following a short illness. She was the widow of John J. Lowrey, II who died Nov. 26, 2011 and James F. Cropper who died July 11, 1995.
She was born in Lowell on Feb. 26, 1934, daughter of the late Edward Dalley and Mary Eastham.
Prior to her retirement she worked as a hairdresser for 30 years. She was a communicant of St. Catherine of Alexandria Church in Westford. She enjoyed reading.
She is survived by her children, Jay Stephen Cropper and his wife Elizabeth of Cumming, Georgia, Shelagh Meier and her husband David of Belmont, Lynne Donovan and her husband David of Westford, and Laura Cropper of Lowell; her sister, Maura and her husband Joe Quinn of Lowell; her brother, Edward Dalley and his wife Reenie of NJ; ten grandchildren, Susan Cropper, Jay Thomas Cropper, Max and Reed Meier, Jenni, Elle, Danielle, Mackenzie, Luke, and Stephen Donovan .
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives & Friends will be received on Tues. Feb. 18 at the J.A. HEALY SONS FUNERAL HOME, 57 North Main St., Westford, MA from 5:00-8:00 PM. Funeral Wednesday morning with a funeral mass to be celebrated at St. Catherine of Alexandria Church, 107 North Main St., Westford at 10 O'Clock AM. Interment to follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Westford.
