BROOKLINE, NH - Eugene W. Pudsey, age 88, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2017 at his home in Brookline, NH after a long illness. For sixty nine years, he was the beloved husband of Lillian M. (Farmer) Pudsey.He was born in Kings County, Nova Scotia on November 29, 1928, a son of the late Ernest and Muriel (Forsyth) Pudsey. Eugene was a resident of Brookline, NH since 1988 and was formerly of Littleton and Westford. He served his country in the U. S. Navy during the Korean War andwas a member of the American Legion Post 74 in Brookline, NHPrior to his retirement, he was self employed truck driver having worked with Burnham Transportation Corp. in Ayer and previously with Roy Bros. in Billerica. Eugene was a jack of all trades and a self taught mechanic who enjoyed working on his own cars and trucks.Besides his wife, Lillian, he is survived by seven children, Linda Polk and her husband, Anthony of Littleton, Ernest Pudsey of Westford, Ronald Pudsey of Danielson, CT, Rachel Lessard and her husband, Gary of Hudson, NH, Denise Proulx and her husband, Robert of Cambridge, VT, William Pudsey of Brookline, NH and Eugene Pudsey of Gilford, NH; two brothers, William Pudsey and his wife, Lillian of Pensicola, FL and Richard Pudsey and his wife, Susan of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; also many grandchildren, many great grandchildren, eight great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Sharon Batista and brother of the late Dorothy Cockerline and Barbara Carmody.ARRANGEMENTS - Family and friends may gather to honor and remember Eugene at the J. A. HEALY SONS FUNERAL HOME, 57 N. Main St., WESTFORD on Wednesday Aug. 30 from 3 to 7pm. A graveside service with military honors will take place on Thursday morning at 10 o'clock at Fairview Cemetery, N. Chelmsford.
