Georgette I. Valcourt

WESTFORD - Georgette I. (Milot)Valcourt, age 88, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017 at Westford House after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Paul Emile Valcourt.
She was born in Westford on May 17, 1928, a daughter of the late Joseph and Claudia (Bouchard) Milot. Georgette was a resident of Westford for many years and a communicant of St. Catherine of Alexandria Parish.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as an electronics assemblerat Tau-Tron of Westford for ten years.
Georgette had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. She enjoyed shopping and going to yard sales. Above all, family was everything to her, especiallyher grandchildren who sheloved taking care of.
She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Edwards and her husband, Bryan of Groton; four grandchildren, Todd Bussey and his wife, Erica of Lowell, Kristy Bouchie and her husband, Rick of Tewksbury, Amy Zahareas and her husband, Tom of Lowell and Greg Edwards and his partner, Fabio of Groton;eleven great grandchildren, Tyler, Timothy, Kyle and Dylan Bussey, Gabe, Luc, Alex and Drew Bouchie, and Tommy, Harry and Gus Zahareas; a brother and sister, Charlie Milot and Cecile Boisvert, both of Westford; many nieces and nephews including Mark, Anne and Judy Daigle who were very dear to her; two dear friends, Doug Lefebvre and Sue Connell. She was the sister of the late Germaine St. Hilaire, Flo Daigle, Sam, Lionel and ArmandMilot.
ARRANGEMENTS - At her request, there will be no calling hours. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Funeral Mass which will be celebrated on Friday morning, March 10, at 10 o'clock at St. Catherine of Alexandria Church, 107 N. Main St., Westford. Interment to follow in St. Catherine Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made the Westford Ambulance Fund, PO Box 197, Westford, MA 01886.Arrangements are in the care of the J. A. HEALY SONS FUNERAL HOME, 57 N.
