Gretchen O'Brien

WESTFORD: Gretchen (Jetter) O'Brien, age 78, a long time resident of Westford, passed away on Feb. 5, 2015, at Kindred Hospital in Natick. She was the widow of Donald M. O'Brien who died in 1996.

She was born in Oil City, PA on Aug. 30, 1936, daughter of the late John & Katherine (Persons) Jetter.

She was a world traveler, and an avid gardener. She was a communicant of St. Catherine of Alexandria Parish in Westford.

She is survived by a sister, Ruth Trent; two sons Timothy and Dennis O'Brien; four daughters, Michaela Rebell, Maureen Small, Margaret Powers and Rita Crehan;; 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; also many nieces, nephews and extended family. She was mother of the late Terrence O'Brien; and sister of the late Rosemary Laumeyer.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives & Friends will be received on Friday February 13, 2015 from 11am-12(noon) at the J.A. HEALY SONS FUNERAL HOME, 57 North Main St., WESTFORD, MA. A prayer service will take place at Noon followed by interment at St. Catherine Cemetery.
