Jane (Belger) Juszkiewicz

August 17, 1942 — July 7, 2024

Westford

WESTFORD - Jane Belger Juszkiewicz, beloved wife of John Juszkiewicz, passed away on July 7, 2024 following a period of declining health.

She was born on August 17, 1942, to Margaret (Coll) and Wilbur Belger. She was raised with her siblings, Jimmy and Carol, in Malden, MA. She graduated from Malden High School on the secretarial track. Jane was excellent at typing and shorthand which served her well in her first job at Putnam Investments in Boston, MA. She lived with the O’Reilly sisters, Maureen, Patsy and Eileen and had many adventures-only some of which they will tell us about.

She married John Juszkiewicz on November 15, 1969, and honeymooned in Las Vegas. From there they started their biggest gamble, raising their children Jay, Chrissy and Donna. After living briefly in Jamaica Plain they settled in Tewksbury, MA, where they raised their children and lived for 50 years.

Jane, in addition to being a homemaker and mother, began working at the Loella F. Dewing Elementary School in Tewksbury, where she worked for 23 years as a kindergarten teacher’s aide. Jane was an active member of St. Williams Church in Tewksbury. She took so much joy in having family and friends in her home. Everyone knew that they would be well-fed and taken care of, especially every year at Easter, where she (mostly) kept the Easter egg hunt from getting out of control. She was an avid reader of the local papers, where she kept an eye on the activities and accomplishments of her children, their friends, and her many students as they grew. She enjoyed puzzles and playing Scrabble and Uno with her husband, children and grandchildren.

In addition to John, Jane is survived by her son John “Jay” Juszkiewicz of Lowell, MA and his wife Lisa, and 2 daughters: Christine “Chris” Conway and her husband Neil Conway of Rockwall, TX and Donna Arias and her husband Damaso “Raulin” Arias of Westford, MA; her sister, Carol Manalo of Bremerton, WA; 4 grandchildren, Seth & Maya Conway and Jackson and Abby Arias, and many nieces and nephews.

Jane was also predeceased by her brother James “Jimmy” Belger and grandson Bryce Arias.

Relatives and friends are invited to Jane’s Visitation on Thursday, July 11, from 4 until 7 PM at the Westford Healy Funeral Home, 57 N. Main Street, Westford. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday morning at 10 AM at the Blessed Trinity Parish - St. Catherine of Alexandria Church, 107 N. Main Street, Westford. Burial will follow in St. Catherine Cemetery, Westford. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jane’s name may be made to: Maryknoll Sisters at www.maryknollsisters.org
