Jeannette M. Gingras

Jeannette (Beaudette) Gingras, 91, died peacefully June 25th in Westford surrounded by loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Gerard "Jerry" Gingras who died in 1993. She was born in Chelmsford, MA a daughter of the late Ernest Dumont and the late Blanch (Beaudette) Dumont. She spent her early years in the Graniteville section of Westford before moving to Groton at the age of 18. She was a loving wife and mother, devoted to her family. Prior to her retirement, Jeannette worked for the Westford school systems in the cafeteria. She enjoyed spending time with her friends at the Cameron Senior center and loved to travel. She was also an avid Red Sox fan and loved her cat "Sox" named for her favorite sports team. She is survived by four daughters; Diane Talbot of Hudson MA, Susan Farrell of Burlington, MA, Jean Stone of Leominster, MA, Nancy Gingras and her husband William Perham of Groton, Ma; a son, Gerard Gingras of Center Sandwich, NH; nine grand children, eight great-grandchildren; and her "adopted daughter" Rose Marcoullier of Westford, Ma. She was the mother of the late Richard Gingras who died in 2004.Friends may call at the Healy Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 29th from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Jeannette's funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Catherine's Church, 107 North Main Street, Westford on Thursday, June 30th at 9:30 a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. Burial will follow in St. Catherine's Cemetery.
