John Robert Jack Lehan

John Robert "Jack" Lehan, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011 at his home in Westford after a brief illness. He was 52. He was born in Lowell on Feb. 3, 1959, son of Elizabeth A. (Bussey) Lehan, with whom he resided and the late James D. Lehan. Jack attended Westford public schools where he played football and was captain of his team. He graduated in 1977 from Westford Academy. Jack had many friends and always had a funny story to tell about his wild adventures. He never forgot a good time. Jack moved to Texas and Georgia to follow his passion building pools. He built hundreds over the years and wouldn't hesitate to let you know that he was the best at it. No one could do better than him. Besides his mother, Jack is survived by three brothers and sisters-in-law, Dennis and Kathy Lehan of Newburyport, Kevin and Mia Lehan of Middleton, and Jeff and Joanne Lehan of Westford; his nieces and nephews, Danielle and Derek of Westford and Jae and Tai of Middleton. He was also the brother of the late James "Jamie" Lehan who died in 1978. Jack will be missed by all who knew and loved him.Relatives and friends may call at the J. A. Healy Sons Funeral Home on Tuesday morning, Nov. 8, from 9 until 11 AM. A Prayer Service will take place at the Funeral Home at 11 o'clock with interment to follow in St. Catherine Cemetery, Westford. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Westford Ambulance Fund, PO Box 197, Westford, MA 01886.
