Joseph M. Brule, age 54, passed away on Sunday June 23, 2019 at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington after a brief illness.
He was born in Lowell on December 12, 1964, a son of the late Maurice and Anne (Kane) Brule. Joe was a lifelong resident of Groton and a graduate of Nashoba Valley Technical High School Class of 1984.
He was recently employed as a custodian at the Rita E. Miller Elementary School in Westford. Joe loved the outdoors and was an avid sportsman. He enjoyed hunting and fishing with his friends in Wiscasset, ME and was a fan of the Boston sports teams.
He is survived by his sister, AnnMarie Upperman and her husband, Bob and a niece, Samantha Upperman, all of Westford; also several aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. He was the brother of the late Brian J. Brule who passed away in 2016.
A celebration of Joe's life will take place at a later date.
