Karen Kay Earnest (Conn)

June 2, 1948 — July 1, 2024

Tyngsboro

Karen Kay Earnest (Conn), a beacon of warmth and strength, passed away unexpectedly on July 1, 2024. Born to Cliff and Gladys Conn on June 2, 1948, Karen's life was a tapestry of love, dedication, and community.

Karen's journey began in Des Moines, where she grew up with her brother, the late William Conn. Her childhood was filled with the simple joys of Midwestern life, which laid the foundation for her nurturing spirit. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her the most, offering support, wisdom, and love in abundance. She was also a devoted grandmother who was always planning fun activities or reaching out to talk on the phone. A friend to many, she was a cherished member of all the communities she lived in, especially Groton, MA where she resided for over 25 years. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and strength.

When Karen was not selling houses she had many hobbies. Her garden was a vibrant oasis, and her backyard was full of beautiful birds for bird watching and several critters including turkeys, possums and raccoons.

Karen's memory is honored by her children, Melissa, Lindsay, and Michael; and her grandchildren, Krysta, Kailyn, Drew, Riley, Madison, Ava and Bryce.

A celebration of life will be held in Groton at a future date.
