Lana Boyd

WESTFORD -- C. Lana (Brule) Boyd, age 69, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013 in York, Maine. She was the wife of the late Dennis G. Boyd who passed away Sept. 21, 2001.

She was born in Lowell on November 24, 1943, a daughter of the late Leo and Gisele "Lou" (Boucher) Brule. Lana was a lifelong resident of Westford and a communicant of St. Catherine of Alexandria Parish.

Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a ward administrator with the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital in Bedford for many years. Lana enjoyed vacationing at her second home in York, Maine and also enjoyed taking trips to Atlantic City and Virginia. Her greatest joy was spending time with her loving family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her two children, Kelly A. Boisvert and her husband, Andre of Midlothian, VA, and her son Kevin M. Boyd and his wife, Clerissa of Westford; a sister, Paula Brule of Westford; two grandchildren, Isaac and Jaxon Boyd; also several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call at the J.A. HEALY SONS FUNERAL HOME, 57 N. Main St., WESTFORD on Monday, Nov, 4, from 5 until 7pm. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock at St. Catherine of Alexandria Church, 107 N. Main St., Westford. Interment to follow at St. Catherine Cemetery.
