Laurette M. Ferreira

WESTFORD - Laurette M. (Bourget) Ferreira, age 76, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2016 at Life Care Center of Nashoba Valley in Littleton after a long illness. For fifty one years, she was the beloved wife of John M. "Jack" Ferreira.
She was born in Lowell on January 25, 1940, a daughter of the late Telesphore "Pete" and Roseanne (Lacombe) Bourget. Laurettewas aWestford residentsince 1970 and was formerly of Groton where she graduated from Groton High School, Class of 1958.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a bank teller for fifty years having worked at both Citizens Bank of Littleton and Union National Bank in Groton.
Laurette was a communicant of St. Catherine of Alexandria Parish in Westford where she served as a Eucharisticminister and would also administer Holy Communion to the residents at Westford House. She was also a volunteer at the Cameron Senior Center where she was a friendly visitor at TadmuckRoad. Laurette was a big fan of the New England Patriots,enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, the beachand vacationing in York Beach, ME for the past forty seven years. Above all, she cherished her time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Besides her loving husband, Jack, she is survived by her two sons, Michael Ferreira and his wife, Patricia of Nashua, NH and David Ferreira and his wife Katherine of Chelmsford; a brother, Roger Bourget of Las Vegas, NV; three grandchildren, Olivia, Emily and Sophia; a sister-in-law, Barbara Daly of Westford; a brother-in-law, Robert Ferreira of Nashua, NH; also many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, friends and neighbors.
ARRANGEMENTS - Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Laurette onMonday, Jan.2 from 3 to 7pm. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated onTuesday at12 noonat St. Catherine of Alexandria Church, 107 N. Main St., Westford.
