WESTFORD - Margaret R. "Peg" Bellemore, age 62, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2015 at Genesis Westford House after a long illness.
She was born in Ayer on December 27, 1952, a daughter of the late Lionel Bellemore and Lillian (Woods) (Bellemore) Woodward. Peg was a lifelong resident of Westford and graduated from Westford Academy.
Prior to her illness, she was employed as a dietary aide with Genesis Westford House for many years.
Peg loved spending time with her family and playing on her tablet. In her younger years, she played in the Westford Womens Softball League.
She is survived by her four brothers and one sister, Raymond Bellemore and his wife Darlene of Shirley, Eddie Woodward of Groton, Thomas Woodward and his wife Sue of Ayer, Patrick Woodward and his wife Sharon of Groton and Cathy Woodward of Ayer; also several aunts, uncles, cousins and many nieces nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
Relatives and friends may call at the J. A. HEALY SONS FUNERAL HOME, 57 N. Main St., WESTFORD, on Thursday, May 14 from 4 until 8pm. Funeral Friday morning with a Prayer Service to take place at the Funeral Home at 10 o'clock. Interment will be private at St. Catherine Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 460 Totten Pond Rd., #400, Waltham, MA 02451.
