Micheline "Michelle" (Beaupré) Lacroix

Micheline “Michelle” (Beaupré) Lacroix passed away peacefully at the age of 80 on June 8, 2025 in Westford, Massachusetts. She was born in Baie-Saint-Paul, Québec, Canada on August 31, 1944 to Carmen (Larouche) and Elie Beaupré. In 1962 she married Robert Lacroix, with whom she was married for 57 years. Shortly after the birth of their first son in 1963, they came to the United States. In those early years they gradually moved north within New York state, from the Bronx, to Mt Vernon, to Pearl River, and finally to Monroe, where they lived from 1969 to 1997. They later lived in Saint-Paul-d'Abbotsford, Québec for several years, before settling in Naples, Florida. Following Robert’s passing in 2019, she resided at Bridges in Westford.

Micheline was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. In her younger years, she enjoyed skiing and boating with her family and friends. She creatively recorded her family’s history in scrapbooks and spent many hours crafting sculptures with seashells she collected during long walks on the beach in Naples. She spent many days on that beach enjoying the company of her group of friends and watching the sun set over the ocean. She loved to laugh and was always ready with a smile. She found much joy in spending time with her grandchildren. More than anything, she loved her boys and always supported them in all they did.

She is survived by her brother Ghislain and wife Suzanne of Baie-Saint-Paul, Québec; son Dan and his wife Penny of Westford, MA; son Sylvain and his wife Gloria of Blooming Grove, NY; grandchildren Cate, André, Lauren, and Michael; and great-granddaughter, Elise. She is pre-deceased by her sister Denise and brother Jean-Pierre.

A memorial service will be held for both Micheline and Robert on July 7 at 11am at Sacred Heart Church, 26 Still Road, Monroe, NY.
