Nicholas Ferreira

Nicholas “Nick” Ferreira, 35, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 30, 2026. He was the cherished son of Maria Kaizerman of Westford and the late Michael Ferreira of Methuen.

He was born in Methuen on February 14, 1991 and was raised in Westford and Methuen. Nick attended Whittier Regional Vocational Technical High School, where he was a star running back on the varsity football team. After graduation, he began working in HVAC and proudly called himself a tin knocker for Sheet Metal Workers Local 17.

Nick loved all things with motors and wheels, and when he wasn’t on a job site, you could find him working on his cars, dirt bikes, and four-wheelers. While he was the type to never sit still, he found relaxation and solace in fishing, and he always had a fishing rod at the ready. He was a natural athlete and a constant tinkerer, always looking to improve things around him the best he could. He had a big heart and loved his family deeply and was the embodiment of perpetual growth, always working to become a better version of himself.

He leaves behind his two beautiful daughters, Gianna and Arianna Ferreira and his longtime beloved partner, Brianna Johnson of Connecticut; his mother, Maria Kaizerman of Westford; his brother, Miguel Silva of Rhode Island; his sisters, Yessenia (Sonia) Nowlan of Texas, Nelba Maldonado of Acton, Sheera Kaizerman of Medford, Jamie Caloggero of Groton and Nicole Kaizerman of Westford; his aunt, Tami Recesso of Atkinson, NH; his uncle, Robert Ferreira of Haverhill; his nana, Jean Ferreira of Newburyport; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to Nick’s Celebration of Life on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 from 4 until 6 PM at the WESTFORD HEALY FUNERAL HOME, 57 N Main Street, Westford.
