WESTFORD - Peter J. Kirwin, 60, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Westford on Tuesday, April 26, 2016. For twenty nine years, he was thebeloved husband of Alice M. (Lamy) Kirwin
He was born in Lawrence on July 27, 1955, he was the son of the late Edward B. and Genevieve (Dzioba) Kirwin. Peter attended Andover schools and graduated from Andover High School, Class of 1973.
Prior to his retirement, he worked for Courier Corp. in Westford for thirty one years as a Pressman's Assistant. Peter and his wife enjoyed the outdoors and spent many days fishing. He was a member of the Westford Sportsmens Club.
Besides his loving wife, Alice, he is survived by two step-sons, Christopher Dionne of Ayer and Paul Dionne of Dracut; a brother, Lawrence J. Kirwin and his wife Nancy of Wilmington; his sisters, Gail Desrochers of Lowell and Attorney Winifred Annis and her husband Mathew of Pelham, NH; nephew, Scott Kirwin and his wife Rosemarie of Baltimore, MD; nieces, Dawn Al-Shurafa of Lowell, Aleisha Winner of Lowell, Laurie Hayes of Wilmington, Attorney Kerry Gertz and her husband Jim of So. Hamilton, Cynthia Antaya and her husband Keith of Haverhill; great nephews, Michael Montijo, Brady Antaya and Liam and Blake Gertz; great niece, Casey Hayes. He was pre-deceased by great nieces, Adrienne and Rileigh Antaya.
ARRANGEMENTS - Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his Memorial Visitation at the J. A. HEALY SONS FUNERAL HOME, 57 N. Main St., WESTFORD, on Monday, May 2, 2016 from 4 until 7pm.Interment will be private.
