Raymond B. Foley

NASHUA, NH - Raymond B. Foley, age 98, passed away on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at The Hunt Community in Nashua. He was the husband of the late Margaret M. (Healy) Foley who passed away in 2002.

Raymond was born in Worcester on August 25, 1916, the son of the late Bernard and Lillian (Dusoe) Foley. Raymond resided in Nashua, NH for the past 10 years and was a communicant of St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church. He was formerly a lifelong resident of Worcester where he attended Blessed Sacrament and St. Andrew the Apostle Churches. Raymond is a veteran of World War II having served in the Pacific Theater as a sergeant in the US Army Air Corps.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a business manager at both Bay State Tobacco and H. E. Shaw in Worcester. Raymond devoted his life to his family and in his free time he enjoyed photography and gardening. He loved listening to classical music and was a doting grandfather.

He is survived by his two sons and daughters-in-law, Raymond K. and Martha F. (Froemming) Foley of Wilmington, DE and Richard L. and Susan M. (Geiger) Foley of Westford, MA; two grandchildren, Connor K. Foley of Washington, DC and Cara M. Foley of Boston; along with several nieces and nephews.

There will be no Calling Hours. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Raymond's Funeral Mass on Monday, April 6, 2015 at 10 o'clock at St. Catherine of Alexandria Church, 107 North Main St., Westford. Interment will be private at St. John's Cemetery, Worcester. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, PO Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142. Arrangements are in the care of the J.A.
