Rena A. Zelukiewicz

WESTFORD -- Rena A. (Lamy) Zelukiewicz, age 93, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 10, 2014 at Lowell General Hospital. For sixty eight years, she was the beloved wife of the late John J. Zelukiewicz who passed away March 24, 2011.
She was born in Lowell on September 12, 1921, a daughter of the late Charles and Alice (Milot) Lamy. Rena was a lifelong resident of Westford and a communicant of St. Catherine of Alexandria Parish.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as an administrative assistant at Murray Printing in Westford for many years.
Rena was a devoted wife and mother who loved nothing more than being with her loving children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, trips to the beaches in Maine and walking her dog, Max.
She is survived by a daughter, Janet M. Ward and her husband, Jim Jr. of Westford; her sister and best friend, Lorraine Gower of Tyngsboro; five grandchildren, Greg Marchand and his wife, Kelly of Shirley, MA, Brent Marchand of Westford, Joelle Fagan and her husband, David of Atkinson, NH, Todd Zelukiewicz and his wife, Mary of Florida, and Erika Kelly and her husband, Jon of Hudson, NH; four great-grandchildren, Ryan and Matthew Marchand, Ayden Kelly and Tehla Zelukiewicz; a daughter-in-law, Anne Miller of Westford; also many nieces and nephews especially the Gower family. She was the mother of the late John W. "Zukie" Zelukiewicz.
Relatives and friends may call at the J. A. HEALY SONS FUNERAL HOME, 57 N. Main St., WESTFORD on Friday morning, Oct. 17 from 8am until 9:30am. Her Funeral Mass will follow at 10 o'clock at St. Catherine of Alexandria Church, 107 N. Main St., Westford. Interment will be private.
