WESTFORD - Robert John Brazil, age 73, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 14, 2016 at Norwood Hospital in Norwood, MA. He was a dedicated and loving husbandto the late Beverly (Reichle) Brazil who passed away in 2010.
Robertwas born in Cambridge on June 16, 1942, son of John and Audrey (McAuliffe) Brazil. He served in the United States Navy from 1960 until 1966.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a diesel mechanic with the Town of Lexington Public Works Department for many years.
He was an avid reader, enjoyed working around his home and could fix just about anything. No matter what subject was being discussed, Bob had an opinion and could back it up with facts in an impressive way. He was very intelligent.
He is survived by his brother-in-law, Robert R. Reichle of Everett, WA and also dear friends.
ARRANGEMENTS - There will be no visitation. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Saturday morning, March 5, at 10 o'clock at St. Catherine of Alexandria Church, 107 N. Main St, Westford. Interment will be private. Arrangements are in the care of the J. A. HEALY SONS FUNERAL HOME, 57 N. Main St., WESTFORD - 978-692-6502 - www.healyfuneralhome.com - Funeral Director, Scott Laurin.
