Robyn Lynn Houde

June 6, 1973 — November 10, 2020

WESTFORD - Robyn L. (Gumuchian) Houde, age 47, of Westford, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 in Westford.

She was born in Cambridge on June 6, 1973, beloved daughter of Roger and Geraldine (Hagopian) Gumuchian of Westford. Robyn was raised in Westford and attended Westford schools. She was a member of the Congregational Church of Littleton.

Robyn graduated from the Lowell Academy Hairstyle Institute and worked as a hair dresser for many years at several salons, most notably Shear Madness in Littleton. She was recently employed as a medical receptionist at Emerson's Westford Health Center.

Far and away, Robyn's most cherished times were spent as her children's mother. Also, anyone fortunate enough to attend a holiday or barbecue under her care enjoyed another of her passions. Maybe less widely known was her brilliant capacity as an artist; as a tween she did free-hand horse portraits in puff paint on oversized sweatshirts, even selling a few through local retailers. To wear with stirrup pants. Because 1985. Her heart warmed every room. Her laugh shook the air. And her departure left a hole where there was sweet light.

Besides her parents, Roger and Geraldine, she is survived by her children, Courtney, Brayden and Trevor Houde; her two brothers, Gary Gumuchian of Littleton and Derek Gumuchian and his wife, Megan of Maynard; her loving companion, David Indorato; her biological mother, Sue Walsh Stacey of Madison, NH; also nieces and nephews and too many wonderful friends to count, all of whom she loved very much.

Funeral services for Robyn will be held privately. Arrangements are in the care of the Westford Healy Funeral Home, Westford, MA. In lieu of donations, please be generous and warm with each other, and laugh often.
