Ronald Tirone

Ronald Tirone, a Westford resident and beloved husband of Janice (Foster) Tirone, passed away unexpectedly at Emerson Hospital on Monday, October 26, 2020. He was 70.
Born in Waltham on January 9, 1950, he was a son of the late Dominic and Rita (Leblanc) Tirone. Ron grew up and was educated in Waltham. He and Janice lived in Burlington for many years prior to moving to Westford three years ago to be closer to their daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren.
Prior to retiring, Ron worked in the printing industry for numerous years as a service manager. He was called Mr.Fix It by family and friends. There wasn't anything he couldn't figure out and repair. His keen skills came in handy when he, Jan and their friends would visit Eastover Resort and they would leave with first prize for best costume.
Ron cherished his family. He loved being around his grandchildren and was their biggest cheerleader. He attended every event. Whether it was for school, sports or dance, he was there.
Ron also looked forward to family vacations. He loved Lake Winnipesaukee, Disney World and traveling to England. He was happiest being around family and friends.
Surviving him besides his wife, Jan, with whom he would have celebrated 47 years of marriage in November, are his daughter and son-in-law, Wendy and Stephen Briggs of Westford and his three grandchildren, Jonah, Carter, and Isabel. He is also survived by his siblings; Charles Tirone of Waltham, Edward Tirone of Littleton, Theresa Galligani, Richard Tirone, Gail Connors, all of Waltham, Anne Arlene Bennett of Chelmsford as well as several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, Godchildren and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Ron's life at the Westford Healy Funeral Home, 57 North Main Street, Westford from 4 until 6 PM on Thursday, November 5, 2020. His funeral services will be private. Donations in his memory may be made to Mass General Cancer Center at Emerson - Bethke Location, 131 Old Road to Nine Acre Corner, John Cuming Building, Suite 200, Concord MA 01742
