Sarah Pastore

TEWKSBURY - Sarah (Cornetta) Pastore, age 101, passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Blaire House of Tewksbury after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late James V. Pastore who passed away in 2005.

Sarah was born in Boston on April 20, 1917, a daughter of the late Benedetto Cornetta and Mary (Alach) Gregorio. She was a resident of Tewksbury and was formerly of Lynnfield where she resided for many years. Sarah was a hairdresser for many years in the Boston area but was also a loving homemaker to her husband and children. She was a talented artist and a member of the Lynnfield Art Guild. Sarah lived a lifespan for over a century and was the family resource for history. She also enjoyed cooking and time spent with her family. She is survived by her three children, James J. Pastore and his significant other Kelly Mattera, of Derry, NH, John M. Pastore and his wife Nancy of Tewksbury and Lisa M. Chipchak and her husband John of Chelmsford; also nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Francis V. Pastore and sister of the late John Cornetta, Vivian Grignon and Benjamin Cornetta. ARRANGEMENTS - Funeral Services for Sarah will be held privately.
