Shirley V. Crocker

WESTFORD - Shirley V. (Barnes) Crocker, age 93, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Sunny Acres Nursing Center in Chelmsford after a period of declining health. She was the wife of the late Alan N. Crocker. She was born in Lowell on August 5, 1924, a daughter of the late Gordon Barnes and Diatha (Murray) Hayes. Shirley was a resident of Westford since 1948 and attended Calvary Baptist Church of Lowell. Prior to her retirement, she was employed as Assistant Vice President at Comfed Bank in Lowell for many years. She volunteered much of her time at the Cameron Senior Center in Westford and enjoyed painting and crafting. Shirley's family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff at Sunny Acres Nursing Center and Beacon Hospice for the the exceptional care she received during her time with them. She is survived by her two children, Susan Crocker of Westford and Stephen Crocker of Huntington Beach, CA. Also five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Theda Crocker, Elaine Sleeter and Katherine Swecker. ARRANGEMENTS - At her request, services will be held privately.
