Susan J Cornwall

Susan J. Cornwall, 59, resident of Westford, died unexpectedly on September 15, 2022 at Massachusetts General Hospital. She was the fiancé of the late Gary Rush until his passing earlier this year.

She was born in Concord, MA on August 3, 1963, and was the daughter of the late Bertha (Mullin) and Willian Cornwall. She was a 1981 graduate of Westford Academy and throughout the years continued to support the band and chorus.

Susan had a love for all things poodles. She enjoyed her local sports, especially the Patriots, Red Sox and Bruins and loved participating in CrossFit at CrossFit EXP. She had a passion for helping with the Best Buddies Organization on Team Maximus.

Susan is survived and will be deeply missed by her niece, Jennifer Norton Kinzer of Ohio and her close friends, Timothy and Julie Dyer and their family from Westford.

She is predeceased by her sister, Vivian Cornwall Norton; her brother, Richard Cornwall and her nephew, Timothy Norton.

Relatives and friends are invited to Susan’s Celebration of Life on Monday, September 26, 2022 from 4PM until 7PM at the WESTFORD HEALY FUNERAL HOME, 57 N. Main Street, Westford. Her funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at 9:30 AM at the United Methodist Church, Westford. Burial to follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Westford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Susan’s memory to Best Buddies, 100 Southeast Second Street, Suite 2200, Miami, FL 33131.
