WESTFORD - Terie Lea (Van Dolman) McGovern, 58, of Westford, MA,  died unexpectedly at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington, MA, on October 3, 2022. She was the beloved wife of Thomas E. McGovern, with whom she shared 23 years of marriage.

Born in Las Cruces, NM, on March 29, 1964, she was a daughter of the late John Van Dolman and Nancy (Conlin) Van Dolman of Lincoln, MA.

In addition to her husband and mother, she leaves her sister, Sharon Kaseta and her husband Steve of Rye, NY, her brother, Steven Van Dolman and his wife Cathy of Orono, ME. As well as numerous nieces, nephews, friends, and business colleagues who loved her dearly.

Terie was a graduate of Framingham State College and worked in industry, most notably for Rockwell Automation/Allen Bradley before starting her own payroll/bookkeeping company in Tyngsboro, MA. Terie enjoyed remodeling her lake house on Highland Lake in Washington, NH and boat rides with her husband and golden retrievers.

Terie was an entrepreneur, savvy businesswoman and her vast experience and ability to collaborate with everyone have left a legacy that will live on.

Relatives and friends are invited to Terie’s Funeral Mass on Friday, October 14, at 11 AM in St. Joseph Catholic Church 142 Lincoln Rd, Lincoln, MA. Private burial to follow at the Lincoln Cemetery. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers donations can be made to one of Terie’s favorite charities:
