Thomas G. Cobb

Thomas G. Cobb, 54, of Westford, beloved husband of Lisa (Senior) Cobb, father of Shawn, Ryan and Brandon Cobb, died unexpectedly June 16, 2011. He was born in Waltham April 23, 1957, a son of George and Faith (Jarvie) Cobb of Attleboro and was a graduate of Waltham high School, Class of 1975. He was employed at Raytheon in Andover as a sheet metal mechanic for 33 years. Active in the Westford sports community, Mr. Cobb was a Coach for the Westford Youth Baseball and Softball Leagues, the Westford Youth Basketball League, and an Assistant Coach for the Westford Academy Baseball Team. He was a wonderful father and he will be extremely missed by his family, friends, co-workers and the many young people he has coached in the baseball and basketball leagues over many years. His positive attitude and friendship has touched the lives of so many people and will be truly missed by all who have known him. Besides his wife and parents, he is survived by his sisters; Gail and her husband Paul Lopez of Medfield, Nancy and her husband Rob Chiacchio of Waltham, Carol and her husband Al Ferraro of Attleboro, Donna Muscato and her fiancé Richard Lee of Ashland, Cynthia and her husband Chris Naugler of Westford, mother-in-law Judy and father-in-law Charlie Senior of Tyngsborough, sisters-in-law; Linda and her husband John McNeil of Tynsborough, and Kathy and her husband Kevin Jeffers of Billerica, brother-in-law Billy Senior of Brighton, twenty nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.Friends may call at the Healy Funeral Home on Monday June 20th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. His funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 21st, 11:00 a.m at the West Chelmsford Methodist Church, 242 Main St., North Chelmsford followed by burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Westford.In lieu of flowers, friends may make memorial contributions in his name to the Jimmy Fund, 44 Binney St., Boston, MA, 02115-6084.
